EU Grant access wrote a science story about our projects financed by the European Union.  

We have developed a compact infrared spectrometer. It’s small enough to fit on a computer chip but can still open up interesting possibilities – in space and in everyday life.

As part of our research on nonlinear photonics for a broad optical range, we show that periodic arrays of BaTiO³ nanodisks, also called metasurfaces, reshape the amplitude of linear and SHG light over the subwavelength scale down to the near-ultraviolet range.

Rachel Grange receives one of 54 Proof of Concept Grants that the European Research Council (ERC) has awarded in the latest funding round. The grant enables her and her group to further explore the commercial potential of a new approach to the characterization of materials.
